Mahindra-owned Classic Legends is preparing to strengthen its hold on the Indian market. The company launched the Java brand last year in 2018, under which three bikes – Java, Java 42 and Perak – were sold. Now Classic Legends is making a comeback in the Indian market once again and this time Yezdi’s new bike roading will be launched.

Classic Legends is geared to revive the unrivaled Yezdi and BSA motorcycles. The company is also reported to be launching new models in the European market under the BSA brand. Classic Legends has been accused of introducing Yezdi’s new bike by the end of this year, though the company has not shared any official information on this.

It is being said in media reports that Yezdi roading can be presented during Diwali. Recently, Classic Legends has also filed a trademark under the name of YZZ Roadkin in India, which is said to be a scrambler bike. For those who don’t know, let us tell you that in the eighties and nineties the Yezdi roading raced on Indian roads. The bike was manufactured by Ideal Java Limited, based in Mysore between 1978 and 1996.

Yezdi Roadking India Launch

The company is expected to use the 293cc capacity liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine on the new Yezdi Roadking Bike. It is also used on Java bikes. This engine produces 26.51bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

The new Yezdi RoadKing looks like a modern scrambler, with spy images revealing that it gets a motorcycle rear tire hugger, narrow tail-end and slim flat ribbed seats). . It is being said that the company will make good use of LED lighting in the Production Ready model.
