IIPM Director Arindam Chaudhary arrested on UGC complaint, know what is the matter

New Delhi: Arindam Chaudhary, director of the Indian Institute of Planning Management (IIPM), has been arrested in the service tax evasion case. This arrest was made on the complaint of the UGC.

It is being told that this arrest has been made by the Central GST Department officials. Please tell that Arindam was arrested earlier in March also.

According to the Times of India report, the UGC had lodged a complaint of service tax evasion on IIPM and Arindam with the Central GST. The incident of arrest has been carried out after the complaint was filed. Official GST sources said that Chaudhary is accused of rigging in the balance sheet.

After arresting Arindam, the CGST team produced him in a Delhi court, after which the court sent Arindam to 14 days judicial custody. Let me tell you that Arindam has 90% shares of the company in which the rigging is being done.

Arrested in March- Arindam Chaudhary was arrested in March this year. At that time, he was accused of submitting fake certificates. The police arrested him for illegally submitting a forged certificate of medical degree.
