Talking about his debut, Chetan said, ‘As I was getting ready to bowl the first ball, I had a few moments before the run up. Everything that happened in my life at that moment was in flashback. Good, Bad, Sacrifice, Cooperation, Criticism. Everything. In a video released by the Rajasthan Royals, he said, ‘It was an emotional moment but it inspired me to do well.’ Zacharia, who was bought by the Royals for Rs 12 crore 20 lakh at the IPL auction, took seven wickets in seven matches before postponing the season. He said, ‘Playing for India is like a dream. When I first heard about it, there were many thoughts running through my mind. I couldn’t believe it. I hugged myself to see if it was real. I never thought about playing. For me, being in the dressing room was a big thing.
