India defeated England by 36 in a crucial match on Saturday at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. With that, India won the five-match series 3-2. Batting first, India set a massive target of 224 against England. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were forced to open for India. They shared 94 runs for the first wicket. Kohli scored an unbeaten 80 and Rohit 64. Chasing the target, England lost 8 wickets and were able to score 188 runs. England’s David Malan scored 68 and Jose Butler 52.

Ishaan Kishan did not get a chance to play in the crucial game. Suryakumar Yadav scored a quick 32 in the fifth T20 match. He scored it in 17 balls. Surya Kumar Yadav has also been named in the ODI series against England since March 23. They both play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. By the end of last season, both had scored a lot and this time both were expected to score a lot. The T20 World Cup will also be held later this year. Both will try to find a place in the India team.
