India’s Best Dancer Season 1: Ajay Singh lifts India’s best dancer trophy

Ajay Singh, popularly known as Tiger Pop, was declared India’s Best Dancer winner on Sunday. Gurugram’s youngster took home a trophy, a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh and a Swanki Maruti car. His choreographer Vertika ha also got Rs 5 lakh.

Besides Tiger Pop, the other finalists are Mukul Gane, Shweta Warrior, Paramdeep Singh and Subranil Paul.

On the show, Tiger Pop, known for his unique “pop style” dance moves, shared that this was his mother’s dream. Enthused about winning India’s best dancer award, she said, “I am not happy to win the award for best dancer in India.” I can’t believe that my childhood dream of being on stage like India’s best dancer and winning it today is a reality. From the first dancer of India, from my first audition, to my first war, to paired with a choreographer like Vertika ha, the whole journey to performing and learning the new week was surreal. It made me realize that standing here on this stage is not to be taken lightly. You have to work hard to earn it. ”

He thanked the judges who were the basis of all and an inspiration to all.

Judge Malaika Arora shared, “I am very happy that Tiger Pop is the winner of our first season. Tiger is great at what he does, and I think the audience gave his judgment the same way. They love him, and he truly deserves the success he achieved today. ”

Dharmesh Yelande, Raghav Jewel, Pooja Sawant, Sushant Singh, Priya Anand, Amit Sial, Sukerthi Kandpal and Ashai Mishra were also present. While judges Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora showcased their dancing skills, Krishna Abhishek filled the match with fun and laughter.
