IPL 2021: Hassaran will prove to be RCB’s trump card in UAE

Hasaranga has joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad for the second phase of the IPL 2021, which was played by Team India’s batsmen on the tour of Sri Lanka. Hasaranga has been included in the RCB squad as a replacement for Adam Jampa. In the remaining 31 matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League in the UAE, this Sri Lankan player can prove to be a trump card for Virat Kohli’s army. After joining RCB, Hasaranga expressed her happiness by sharing a post on Instagram.

Hassaranga, who posted a photo of himself in his Bangalore jersey, wrote: ‘Sitting at home and watching him is part of a larger team. I am excited, honored and thrilled at the same time. Hasaranga can play an important role for the RCB in the UAE with the strength of his spin bowling. He is also diligent in batting. Hassaranga’s performance against India in the ODI and T20 series was very good. Hasaranga took 3 wickets in ODIs and 7 wickets in three T20s. Hasaranga has been replaced by Adam Zampa in the RCB squad. Jampa has decided not to play in the remaining matches of the IPL in the UAE.

At the same time, Singapore’s batsman Tim David has been replaced by Finn Allen in the RCB squad. Allen has been selected in the New Zealand squad for the series against Bangladesh, due to which he will not be available for the IPL. Fast bowlers Ken Richardson and Daniel Sams have also decided to stay away from the tourney. Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmant Chamira has been appointed to replace Daniel Sams. Bangalore’s performance in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League was excellent and the team won 5 out of 7 matches.
