He does not want to be a father, if he knows that his child earns a hatred rather than a blessing. He hoped that Riddhima’s blessing came as a gift to him but it would come as a curse. Vansh is afraid of the curse given to him by the wife of a hen. He should not look after the family of a hen who wanted to die.

He takes the curse so seriously that he stops believing that he can truly be a good father who can raise his child happily. Wansh does not want the same to happen in Ridhima that happened with Ishani. They believe that they are responsible for the loss of Ishani’s baby. He tried very hard to explain himself to Ridhima by sharing his fear of not having a child. Riddhima is trying to convince Wansh that her child will be raised in a safe and secure environment, with no risk to the child.

Vansh doesn’t think it’s possible because of the risky business he runs. Ridhima had no idea that Vansh was smuggling diamonds. Kabir is well aware of the business and makes a profit.
