Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Wednesday directed the authorities to ensure that Kovid-19 patients are discharged home individually in an emergency, thus reducing the death toll from the epidemic. Sources said the Lieutenant Governor has ordered strict supervision of Kovid-19 patients kept in the isolation of the home.
What is special is that many people living in home isolation are coming out of events that violate the rules. According to official statistics, 22,246 patients of Kovid-19 remained in the home capital until Tuesday, in the national capital.
Baijal checked the status of Kovid-19 in Delhi on Wednesday. He reviewed the implementation of the new strategy released by the Minister of Home Affairs and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
At a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, Baijal asked the authorities to monitor, investigate and increase the number of ICUs and ventilators. To this end, the Lieutenant Governor has asked the authorities to closely monitor the Kovid-19 patients kept individually at home and ensure timely delivery of the emergency.

At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has urged experts to look into the death cases of Kovid-19 and suggest measures to reduce the death toll in the capital. The Chief Minister made this appeal during a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), chaired by Lt Governor Anil Baijal.
