Mahindra & Mahindra, the country’s leading automaker, will launch its new 7-seater SUV XUV700 in the domestic market on August 14. This is the first time in this segment that the company has been adding many such advanced features before the launch of this SUV. Now the company has announced that it has implemented the Alexa Voice Artificial Intelligence (AI) system in this SUV.
This is the first vehicle in the country to offer Alexa Voice artificial intelligence. This system is unique in that the driver or owner can control the SUV’s window with sun commands, infotainment system, music, cabin temperature, etc. with voice commands. It’s like sitting at home and ordering Alexa.
This allows drivers to drive safely. This is because when driving, drivers need to make noise just to perform these tasks and do not need to remove the hand from the steering wheel. The Voice Command System has been featured in some SUVs before, but it is the first SUV to be equipped with Alexa Voice.
According to research by Amazon India, many people in the country already want to hear in their cars the same sound they used to hear in their homes. Now that Echo devices are popular, the best course of action is to use the Alexa Voice Integration System on the upcoming XUV700. Vijay Nakra, CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd’s automotive division, said, “We are confident that this new system will transform people’s driving experience and be loved by tech-savvy people.”
Mahindra says the vehicle will provide offline access to Alexa in places with patched or zero internet connections. The most advanced features and technology are included in this SUV. It gets Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Panoramic Sun Roof and Large Touchscreen Infotainment System.
The company has not yet shared any information about its engine and other procedures. But experts believe the company could use a 2.2-liter diesel and a 2.0-liter petrol engine. The engine is fitted with a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission mission gearbox.
