Ingredients for Makhana Bhel –
Roasted Makhana – 200 g
-Fresh – 5 tbsp
Peanuts – 20 g roasted
Onion – 1 chopped
Almond cashews – 20 g roasted
Raw chilli – 2 chopped
Tomatoes – 1 chopped
Black salt – to taste
Green Coriander – 1 tbsp
Lemon – 1
– Desi Ghee – To oil the skillet
– black pepper – 1 tbsp
Ingredients for making sweet chutney –
Tamarind – 10 g
-Bella – 10 g
Roasted cumin powder – 2 tbsp
Water – 500 ml
Makhana Bheling Method –
To make the Makhana Bale, grease the pan a little and put the Makhana, Puffed Peanuts on it. Leave to fry until it is crispy. Add salt to taste. After roasting, take them out and place them in a separate container. After that, roast the almond cashews with a pinch of salt.
To make tamarind chutney First, put some water in the skillet. When the water starts to boil, add the jaggery tamarind in it. Then add the roasted cumin powder. Stir it until the jaggery melts. Heat the mixture until it boils and reduces it to half. Once the mixture has cooled, remove it from the pot.
How to Serve
To serve Makhana Bhel, take a bowl. Add Makana, Peanuts, Almonds, Puffed Rice and Cashews. Add onion, pepper, tomato, green coriander, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add tamarind chutney with all of this. Throw that mixture well. Your Makhana Bhel is ready.
