There are major political ups and downs in West Bengal ahead of the Assembly elections. The Shubhendu officer, who recently left the TMC and joined the BJP, has indicated that his entire family will soon join the BJP. According to a Hindu report, Shubhendu, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, on Tuesday gave a clear indication that his father, Sisir and brother Dibyendu, will soon join the BJP. Before joining the BJP on December 19, a senior officer was a minister in the Mamata government.
On Tuesday, the officer addressed a public rally in Kharda, North 24 Parganas, and responded to a response by Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee this time. How can Abhishek Banerjee claim that when he cannot feed the lotus in his house, the BJP will win the entire state? In response, the Shubhendu officer said, there is plenty of time, Ramanavmi is not yet celebrated and lotus blossoms in my family. I want to assure you that I see the lotus blooming in your family at 30B Harish Chatterjee Street.
The official alleged that the Trinamool government had changed the name of the central projects to that of the state administration. Officials were speaking at a massive rally after leading a road demonstration in this Mufassil town in West Medinipur district. He accused the Trinamool leadership of focusing solely on its leadership in Kolkata and not giving representation to rural areas. Ten of Trinamool’s 21 Lok Sabha MPs and most of the ministers are from Kolkata, he said. BJP leaders said, ‘I am not unfaithful. I am from Madinipur, which is the land of patriots like Matangini Hajra, Khudiram Bose and Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. I am a descendant of that heritage. ‘
TMC now takes action against Soumyendu, younger brother of Zangendi officer who was removed as President of Kanthi Municipality
In fact, Shubendu’s father Sisir was the authority and brother Dibyendu was TMC MP for the eastern Mednipur district. The officer and his family have been instrumental in the development of TMC in East Midnapore. The officer’s family is politically strong and has a strong hold on most of the assembly seats in the district. The 78-year-old Sisir official and his three sons have been in control of Kanti and Tamluk Lok Sabha seats since 2009 and in this district. The Sisir official is one of the most senior members of the TMC representing the Kanthi constituency.
Shubendu’s brother Dibiyendu is a member of the Tamluk Lok Sabha, the youngest of the three siblings, Saumiundu, who was the chairman of Kanti Municipality, but TMC removed him from the post on Tuesday. His responsibility has now been given to Siddharth Maiti. Some local leaders of the Trinamool Congress have alleged that Soumyendu was working for the BJP from the post of city administrator.
