MG Hector’s New Shine Variant Released, Enjoy Electric Sun Roof At Low Cost

MG Motor will enter the Indian market in 2019 with its first SUV Hector. Over time, this SUV became famous in the Indian market and so far thousands of people have bought this SUV. Today the company has launched a new shine variant of this SUV on the market. The SUV is priced at Rs 14.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company includes some specialties in this new Hector Shine, which is different from other variants. So far this SUV has only been available in four variants, but now has 5 variants including the Shine. These include Style, Super, Shine, Smart and Sharp. This new shiny variant has taken its place between Super and Smart.

What’s special about the new MG Hector Shine:

This new mid-spec variant of Hector is based on the second base super trim but the company is offering some additional features.
The most significant upgrade is the new single-pan sun roof, which was first introduced in Hector. So far, Hector has only been available in its top-spec Sharp trim with the panoramic sunroof. Although the Shine Trim only gets the single-pan sun roof, it is cheaper than the top model.

In addition, the company receives keyless entry, push-button start, electric parking brake, auto hold, steering wheel and telescope finished door handle. It is worth noting that all these features are only available in the petrol-CVT variant of the Shine Trim, except for the sunroof. Of these, the company has used 17-inch alloy wheels, while 18-inch wheels are offered in the top model. The company has introduced this new variant of Havana Gray.

The company has launched Hector Shine with petrol and diesel options. In its petrol version, the company uses a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 143 hp of power. The diesel version, on the other hand, has a 2.0-liter engine that produces 170hp of power. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission mission box. The Turbo variant is available with the CVT Automatic Gear Box.
