Mukesh Khanna says women aren’t equal to men, should stay at home: ‘MeToo movement began because women started working’ – tv

Actor Mukesh Khanna, best known for his Shaktiman and Mahabharata programs, said that as the #MeToo movement began, women began to feel that they were equal to men. She said it was the women’s duty to take care of the home.

A video of her comments in a recent interview is being widely shared online. In the video, the actor says, “The #MeToo problem started when women started working.”

In an interview with Filmi Charcha, the actor said, “ura rat ka kam hai ghar sambhalna, jo maf karna mai kabi kabhi bol bhi jata hu (home care taking care of a woman’s work). Problem Kaha Se Shuru Hui Hai #MeTooKi Jab ura Rato Ne Bhi Kam Karna Shuru Kar Diya (The #MeToo problem started when women started working). Aaj ura rat merd k saath kandhe se kandha milain ki baar karti hai (Today women talk about walking from shoulder to shoulder with men).

He continues, “Log women’s lib ki baat karange, lekinin mein opko bata doon, problem yahin se startu hoti hai (People talk about women’s liberation, but I’ll tell you where the problem begins). Karta hai, Jisko ma nahi milti (the first child to suffer, because there is no mother to look after him at home). Shurut Hui, Tab Se Ye Bhi Shurut Hui Ke Chief Bhi Wohi Karungi Jo Mard Karta Hai Nahi, Mard Mard Hai Rura Rura Rath Hai (It started when men started saying what women want to do. No, a man is a man and a woman is a woman ) “They understand that this is not an acceptable thing to say in the ‘modern world,'” he said.

Her comments have been widely criticized on Twitter. “As soon as people (like him) get a platform to speak, they start shingling with their mouths,” one person wrote. “What a disappointment,” another wrote. The third person wrote, “He started #MeToo because he thought women were equal to men. He has a sick mentality. I’m sorry that the women in his family have to deal with such a man.”

Recently, the actor appeared at the center of controversy when he slammed The Kapil Sharma Show and refused to appear with the cast of Mahabharata. “The show is full of futility, full of double meanings, turning to pornography every moment. “Men wear women’s clothes, do cheap things, and people laugh and hold their stomachs,” she said on social media.

Responding, Kapil said, “My team and I are working hard to make people laugh at this critical stage of the epidemic. When the whole world is having a hard time, it’s important to put a damper on people’s faces. ”
