Petrol price pressure ends! These cars, including the Maruti Brazza, come with CNG models and get good mileage

Rising petrol prices have put pressure on the car owner’s head. But in the meantime, demand for CNG cars has skyrocketed. Most people are buying CNG cars instead of petrol and diesel cars. Taking this interest to consumers, the country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki will present its best-selling cars with CNG variants.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki has a total of 6 cars in its CNG portfolio. This includes Maruti Ertiga, Alto, S-Presso, Wagon R, Celerio and Eco Van. Now it is reported that the company will be launching three new CNG cars this year, Vitara Brezza, Dzire and Swift. Recently these cars were spotted during testing.

Maruti Swift Desire CNG:

Maruti Suzuki is testing the CNG variant of the sub-compact sedan Dzire and the famous hatchback Car Swift. The 1.2-liter Dual Jet K12C petrol engine is used in this new model. It comes with the CN G Kit adopted by the company. The engine is said to produce 82bhp of power and 113Nm of torque while running only in petrol mode. In CNG mode, this engine generates 70bhp of power and 95Nm of torque.

Maruti Brezza CNG:

Maruti Brazza is the leading manufacturer in the compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment and currently only available with petrol engines on the market. The diesel variant was discontinued with the launch of its facelift at the Auto Expo last year. But now the company is preparing to introduce its CNG variant. Its details have already leaked on the internet, which means the company is using the CNG kit with a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine.

According to leaked documents, this CNG variant engine produces 91bhp of power and 122Nm of torque. The regular petrol model produces 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, excluding the ECU and intelligent injection system.
