BMW today launched the facelift model of its popular sedan Car 5 Series in the Indian market. Decorated with a very attractive appearance and strong engine capabilities, the sedan is priced at Rs 62.90 lakh. (Ex-showroom, Delhi) is allotted. This sedan is available in three variants with a petrol and diesel engine.
The company has made some special changes to this new facelift model, which is better than the previous model. In this, the front grille is given a bit wider and shorter than the first. It also gets a new single-frame design, which is included in the center of the revamped front bumper. The quad LED beam in the headlights, L-shaped daytime running lights and indicators enhance the beauty of the exterior.
It has an 18-inch alloy wheel that improves the side profile. In terms of size and color, the car is available in two color schemes, namely Phytonic Blue and Bernina Gray Amber. Furthermore, this new model is 27mm longer than the previous car, but the company has not made any changes in its width and height.
Engine capacity:
As we mentioned above, this facelift model of the BMW 5 Series has been launched in the market with petrol and diesel engine options. In its petrol version, the company offers a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 252 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel variant is powered by a 2.0-liter engine that produces 190 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque. The car comes with a 3.0 liter diesel engine that produces 265 hp of power and 620 Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

BMW’s iDrive Infotainment System is incorporated in the 5 Series facelift. It replaces the previous 10.25-inch central touchscreen with a 12.3-inch touch display. It also features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. In addition, other variations on the interior include a lower climate display and a glossy black center console.
Top-spec 5 Series M Sport variants get Matrix LED headlights with laserlight technology, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, front seat power adjustment with memory, electric sunroof, head-up display, Herman Kardon. Features such as sound system, 360-degree parking camera, front and rear parking sensors and wireless smartphone charging are also provided.

The company is fully concerned about the safety of this car. The new 5 Series facelift has 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake assist, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, traction control and ISOFIX child mount seats.
Mileage and Speed:
The company claims that the BMW 5 Series D variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.7 seconds. Its 520D luxury line offers 20km of mileage and the 530DM variant offers 17.42km of mileage. At the same time, its petrol variant delivers mileage of up to 14.82 kilometers.
