Japanese two-wheeler maker Yamaha has launched its retro-style motorcycle Yamaha FZ-X in India. This is a little premium bike from Yamaha FZ. The standard model of the bike is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh and the accessories version costs Rs 1.20 lakh. The design of the new bike is influenced by the company’s Yamaha XSR 155 and is built on the FZS V3 platform.
Booking at Rs.1000
Company distributors have started booking for the Yamaha FZ-X bike. The initial token amount is being taken from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000. To strengthen its grip on the 150 to 200cc segment, Yamaha has launched a new bike with 150cc, in which the company has already sold bikes like the FZ, FZS and MT15.

The engine is strong
The Yamaha FZ-X retro style bike has a 149cc single cylinder, air cooled engine. The same engine is also available in the FZ FI series. This engine produces 12bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has a single-channel ABS system. The bike measures 2,020mm long, 785mm wide and 1,115mm tall. The motorcycle’s wheel base is 1,330mm.

This bike of Yamaha has a long list of features. It features LED headlamps, digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, side-stand engine kill switch, upswept exhaust, flat seat for comfortable ride, mobile charging socket, block pattern tire, smooth LED tail-lamps and Yamaha app. Is gone. The bike comes in three color options – Matte Blue, Matte Black and Matte Copper.
