Royal Enfield, the country’s leading performance bike maker, is gearing up to renew its vehicle portfolio. Recently, the debate over the company’s new street bike on the internet has gained momentum, named in the media reports Hunter 350. Now this street bike has been spotted once again during testing, in which its appearance and design are fully revealed.
No official confirmation has been made about the name of this street bike, but it has been named Hunter 350 in media reports. The company gave the bike a muscular look. Round Shape Headlamps, Tear Drop Shape Fuel Tanks, Attractive Rear Fenders and Taillamps give it a modern classic look.
Looking at the spy pictures, it seems that the company used the same alloy wheels found on the Meteor 350. It has thicker tires with 17-inch wheels. As for the engine, it is powered by a 349 cc single cylinder air-cooled engine producing 209 hp of power and 27 Nm of torque. It is too early to say anything about whether the company will make any changes to the tuning of this engine.
The company is making this bike on the ‘J’ platform on which the meteor is built. The top of the split cradle chassis may be meteoric, but the bottom half feels new. Footpegs are relatively focused compared to meteor cruiser-style forward-set footpegs. The flat handlebar and footpeg position make it sporty.
In terms of features, this bike is offered with a round shape instrument panel, tripper navigation screen, switchgear etc. The company is expected to keep the price of this bike below the Classic 350. While no details have been shared about the launch dates of this bike, it is expected to be released to the market after the next generation of the classic 350.
