In the second match of the three-match T20 International series, South Africa defeated Pakistan by six wickets and won the series 1–1. Pretorius took five wickets for just 17 runs in four overs, allowing Pakistan to bat first, scoring 144 for seven in the allotted 20 overs. South Africa scored 14 off 14 balls with 22 balls remaining.

Opener Reza Hendricks scored 42 off 30 balls with three boundaries and three sixes. Pitt van Biljan scored 42 off 32 balls with three fours and two sixes, while David Miller scored 25 not out and captain Henrik Klassen scored 17 not out. Pretorius received the Player of the Match award.
Before that, Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan scored 51 runs in the last match, while Faheem Ashraf scored an unbeaten 30 off 12 balls in the last over. In addition to Man of the Match, South Africa’s Pretorius took five wickets, while Andile Fehlukwai and Tabrez Shamsi took one wicket each. The third game of the series will take place on Sunday.
