Samir Soni Was Afraid Of Dharmendra: This artist was afraid to touch Hema Malini during the shoot due to fear of beating Dharmendra

New Delhi: JNNL film star Sameer Soni has said in an interview that he was afraid to touch film actress Hema Malini during the shooting of Baghban. The reason is that Malini’s husband, Dharmendra, thought that he would defeat Dharmendra because of the movie actor and Hema did so. On this occasion Sameer Soni said he was very excited to work with Hema Malini.

The film is directed by Ravi Chopra. In an interview, Sameer Soni said that while he was giving his first shot with Hema Malini, Hema was afraid to put a hand on Malini’s hips and shoulders. He thought Dhamendra would defeat Hema Malini when he touched her. When Hamer Malini saw Sameer Sonny’s hesitation, she talked to him and avoided it during the rehearsal.

In an interview with Sameer, ‘In my first scene with Hema Malini, we were supposed to show that all her children came together at a Holi party. The scene was very simple but I got to see Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. I used to see Amitabh Bachchan as my father. Hema Malini ji looked so beautiful. During rehearsal, I was unable to put a hand on Hema Malini’s waist or shoulder. I was scared. I was afraid Dharmendra ji would beat me. After the first rehearsal I asked Hema Ji, if I put a hand on his shoulder, he would have no problem. I was relieved when Hema said ‘no’ after that. ‘

Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini play the lead roles in the movie Bagaban. This is the story of older parents who spend everything for their children but it also means kids want to get rid of them. The film came out in 2003 and was a super hit.
