After entering the random OTP, you will be redirected to a fake SBI website, where you will be asked to enter some personal information, such as the account holder’s name, mobile number, and date of birth.

After filling in the details, you will be redirected to the OTP page as before and once again you will be prompted for the OTP.

This is the motive behind the SBI OTP scam
According to research by the Cyberpiece Foundation and Autobot Infosec Research, scammers collect banking details such as username, password, account name, mobile number, and date of birth of the user. Let us know that each time a user transacts or changes his profile on the SBI’s official website, the OTP is sent to the user. By submitting such information, scammers can later make you a financial victim. For this you need not share any sensitive information with any unknown link. Only in this way can you avoid losses later.
