Chinese companies are generally known for copying products from around the world. They have also copied vehicles and motorcycles. There are no Chinese car manufacturers in our country. However, some Chinese companies sell their vehicles in neighboring Pakistan. Today we are talking about one such Chinese car sold in Pakistan, which is an Indian car.
The name of this Chinese company is BAIC (Bike). In Pakistan, they sell an SUV named BAIC BJ40 Plus. This car is very much inspired by the Indian brand Mahindra’s Thor. You will notice many design elements in the images. The side profile of the car reminds you of the Thor and the Jeep Wrangler, though the car’s front grille and headlight are slightly different. Taillamps, tailgate design and spare wheel fitted to the tailgate are similar to the Wrangler.

Lots of features
The design may be compatible with many vehicles, but the BAIC BJ40 comes with great features. It gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 12.3-inch LCD driver display, similar to the previous-generation BMW infotainment system. There is an inbuilt dashcam behind the rearview mirror, which is activated immediately after the SUV launches.
It also has an electric-adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, and ample storage space throughout the cabin. It comes with many features like cruise control, all power windows, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, rear wipers. The hardtop we saw in the pictures can be removed like the Mahindra Thar and the Jeep Wrangler. Headlamps and taillamps are all LED components.

2.3 liter powerful engine
The company said it was an off-road SUV. It is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine that comes with direct injection. This engine produces 250 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. It has a 6-speed automatic transmission. There is also a 2.0-liter diesel engine attached to the 6-speed manual gearbox.
