Sharjah Cricket Stadium officials have confirmed that the stadium is ready to be played safely, a day after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the second phase of IPL 2021. BCCI has given Sharjah 10 out of the remaining 31 IPL matches. “We are ready to organize the IPL in a safe environment and are eagerly looking forward,” Khalaf Bukhatir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sharjah Cricket Stadium said in a statement.
