Shiv Sena MP resigns, accusing NCP of strangling him

Parbhani | Shiv Sena’s Parbhani MP Sanjay Jadhav has resigned, alleging that he is being strangled by the NCP. This has created a stir in the Mahavikas Aghadi government and has sparked political discussions. Sanjay Jadhav has tendered his resignation to Shiv Sena chief and state chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. He has also sent a letter along with his resignation. At the local level in Parbhani, there are differences between NCP and Shiv Sena leaders. Sanjay Jadhav has expressed his grievances in the letter alleging that the NCP is strangling him.

Jadhav has sent a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray yesterday evening stating that he is resigning as an MP. He blamed local politics of the NCP for the resignation. This is the politics behind the Jintur Agricultural Produce Market Committee in Parbhani. In the past, the NCP’s governing body was appointed. The administrative board was appointed in Jintur even though there was no NCP MLA. Shiv Sainiks were upset because of this. At that time, we explained to the Shiv Sainiks that next time we will get a chance. However, the NCP’s governing body has been re-appointed to the Jintur Agricultural Produce Market Committee. Shiv Sena is being strangled due to local politics of NCP and therefore he is resigning from his MP post, Jadhav has mentioned in his letter to the Chief Minister.
