Mandya: The incident occurred when Deve Gowda Koppalu village of Pandavapur taluk was killed when the soil collapsed while working on a canal.
Mahesh (೨೮) is a deceased laborer who was originally known to be a resident of Begur in Chamarajanagar district.
As usual, Deve Gowda went to work on a canal near Koppalu village on Friday morning. While working in the evening, suddenly the earthy soil of Mahesh had collapsed. The injured laborer Mahesh was rushed to the local Pandavapura hospital. But Chikitsa has died in vain. A case has been registered by the Pandavapura police.
