Today, there seems to be sales in the stock market. The BSE Sensex fell by 63.18 points, or 1.39 per cent, to close at 13,897.70, with the Nifty 47,549.90 and the Nifty down 34.90 points.

Stock markets closed for the fifth consecutive trading on Tuesday amid positive trends in global and domestic markets, and Sensex and Nifty reached new highs. The 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 259.33 points, or 0.55 per cent, to a new high of 47,613.08 points. The benchmark Sensex traded at an all-time high of 47,714.55 points. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty gained 59.40 points, or 0.43 percent, to its new high of 13,932.60 points. The Nifty traded at 13,967.60 points.
