Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: ED shares Riya’s drug connection with CBI, NCB

Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing the money laundering in the Sushant Singh Rajput case has shared evidence related to Riya Chakraborty’s alleged drug connection with the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Officials said that the Central Investigation Agency has certain figures, which have been shared with CBI and NCB. However, he declined to reveal anything about the nature of the evidence.

Riya’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said on the allegations that the actress has never taken drugs in her entire life and that she is ready to get a blood test done. The Enforcement Directorate has questioned Riya twice. Meanwhile, BJP’s Rajya Sabha member Subrahmanyam Swamy has alleged that Sushant was poisoned before his death. He tweeted that the post-mortem of the actor was deliberately delayed so that the poison dissolves in his stomach. He said that the mentality and reach of the killers is slowly being known.

Sushant’s family has denied the claim of Siddharth Pithani, who lives in his flat, that the actor’s body was taken down at the behest of his family members. On the condition of anonymity, a family member said that what is being said in the media quoting Pithani is wrong. Sushant’s family reached Mumbai from Delhi late evening of 14 June due to the lockdown. By that time, his body had been taken to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.
