Tata’s affordable micro-SUV HBX is ready for launch

The Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment has a high demand in the Indian market. In particular, compact SUV vehicles are given high priority. Tata Motors, the country’s leading automaker, is set to release the Micro SUV Tata HBX (codenamed). The company introduced this SUV concept at the last Auto Expo, which for the past several months has been recognized as a test for various situations. It is expected that the company will soon launch this Micro SUV in the domestic market. The company showcased this SUV at the Geneva Motor Show. It can be seen in the latest spy films that this SUV has a completely new design and attractive features. It is believed to be named Hornbill.

What’s the price:

The company may place the new Micro SUV in its vehicle portfolio below the existing Tata Nexon SUV. While it is difficult to say anything about its price before its release, according to media reports, the company can only offer this SUV from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh.

The new Tata HBX Impact is based on the design philosophy and is built on the Alpha (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture. In such a situation, this SUV is expected to be even better in terms of safety. This SUV crash test is likely to get a good rating in safety rating. Currently, Tata Nexon is the safest SUV in the country and is rated 5 star in the Global NCAP crash test.

The exterior of this micro SUV features a split headlamp cluster with a signature humanity line, a Y-shaped black radiator grille insert, clamshell-shaped bonnet structure, square-off wheel arches, raked front windshield, round-shaped fog lights, high heels. In addition, an effort has been made to provide a better location inside the cabin. The touchscreen infotainment system can be offered in its top-spec variant, which connects to Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

According to reports, the 1.2-liter petrol engine will deliver 83bhp and 114Nm of torque. This engine is compatible with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The company can release it in the market with an automatic gearbox. It will be the most affordable Micro SUV in its segment in the market.
