Thalassery: The beams of the bridge under construction on the Muzhuppilangadi-Mahe bypass road covered the ground. The beams of the bridge being constructed across the Dharmadam river near Nettoor in Thalassery were damaged.
The accident happened around 2.30 pm on Wednesday. No one was around at the time of the accident. Thus a great tragedy was averted.
Three beams of the bridge were broken. The loss is estimated at around Rs 1 crore.indian
