The government is alerting NGOs about allowances
The government has asked NGOs and community-based organizations (CBOs) to work on gender issues. The ministry said the financial aid would help the Lingayat community meet their daily needs.

After providing the basic details, Aadhaar and bank account number, anyone can apply for financial assistance on behalf of a Linguistic Person or a Linguistic Person in the form of a CBO at https://forms.gle/H3BcREPCy3nG6TpH7.
The form is available on the website of the National Institute of Social Security, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Lingayats are given financial aid and ration kits
Explain that at the beginning of last year, the ministry provided similar financial aid and ration kits to transgender people during the lockdown. A total of Rs 98.50 lakh has been spent for this purpose, benefiting around 7000 Lingayatas across the country.
