Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan and NITI Aayog member Dr. Vinod K Paul held a meeting with Health Secretaries of Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Chandigarh. The meeting reviewed the upcoming coronary cases in the state and the measures taken for its monitoring, prevention and management.
Nine in Delhi, 15 in Haryana, 10 in Andhra Pradesh, 10 in Odisha, nine in Himachal Pradesh, seven in Uttarakhand, two in Goa and one in Chandigarh Chandigarh districts have been tested for coronavirus. RT-PCR testing is also low. Connection detection has also been reduced. States should speed up surveillance in the container sector and locate at least 20 people in a positive case, the central committee said.
This poses a risk of spreading to neighboring states, the health ministry said. The central government asked the states to take appropriate measures to prevent the Kovid-19 case and to continue the testing, track and treatment strategy. States should focus on clinical management and enhance health infrastructure so that patients can be treated in a timely manner and reduce mortality.
In addition, a committee of the Ministry of Health has directed the activation of the corona vaccine in these states so that new cases can be brought under control. The Center has told the states that the Super Spreader must keep an eye on the event and force the transmission to break.
