Hyundai Motor India has increased the price of its popular hatchback i20. The company launched the third generation Hyundai i20 in November 2020. After this, it was the first to increase its price. Earlier, the car was priced at Rs 6.80 lakh to Rs 11.18 lakh. (Ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the base model Hyundai i20 is now priced at Rs 6.85 lakh and the top model is priced at Rs 11.19 lakh. (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
The price has increased by 13 thousand
The company has increased the price of the car to Rs 13,000. Maximum increase has been made in the Asta (O) MT variant. Its price was Rs 9.20 lakh. It has now increased to Rs 9.33 lakh. The base model of the car (Magna MT) has been increased by Rs 5,000 and the most expensive variant Asta (O) DCT is priced at Rs 1,000.

3 See engine options
The third-generation Hyundai i20 comes with three engine options. It gets 1.2-liter Kappa petrol (83 PS / 88 PS and 115 Nm), 1.0-liter Kappa Turbo-GD petrol (120 PS and 172 Nm) and 1.5-liter U2 CRD diesel (100 PS and 240 Nm) engines. The 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed MT and IVT automatic transmission. The 1.0-liter Kappa Turbo-GDI petrol engine can be mated to a 6-speed IMT or 7-speed DCT automatically. The 1.5-liter U2 CRD diesel only has a 6-speed MT.
