Ola S1 Electric Scooter: The country’s leading cab service provider, Ola, today unveiled the first electric scooter, the Ola S1, in the domestic market on its 75th Independence Day. The long wait for this electric scooter is over today. The company has released this scooter in two variants – S1 and S1 Pro.
The Ola S1 is priced at just Rs 85,099 and the S1 Pro variant is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. This price is similar to that of Delhi and the subsidy offered by the state. The lowest price of this scooter is in Gujarat where the S1 is priced at Rs. Is 109,999. At the same time, in all the states except Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the S1 variant is priced at Rs 99,999 and the S1 Pro variant is priced at Rs 1,29,999.

The company offers an artificial sound system on this scooter so you can change the sound of the scooter depending on your mood. On this scooter, the company has offered 4G connectivity so that it can always be connected to the internet. You can manage all the features by connecting your smartphone to this scooter, which also includes the scooter’s lock / unlock system.
Not only that, this scooter also recognizes your voice, it also has a voice command system, so you have to say ‘Hey Ola’ and after that you can listen to your favorite music on a scooter and GPS navigation or call whoever. It has a 7-inch touch screen display and speakers.
No key required:
You don’t even need a key to lock and unlock this scooter. For this, you need to connect the scooter to your smartphone and you can lock and unlock it via the Mobile App. Not only that, as soon as you get close to the scooter, this scooter is unlocked with the help of sensors, and as soon as you move away from the sensor range, this scooter is locked.
Battery and driving range:
On the Ola Electric scooter, the company offers a 3.9 kWh capacity battery pack and its electric motor produces a maximum power of 8.5 kW. The company claims that its battery will be fully charged in about 6 hours with a 750W capable portable charger. In addition, the battery can be charged up to 50% in just 18 minutes with the company’s supercharger.
Ola claims that this electric scooter offers a 180 to 190 km driving range once fully charged. Not only that, this scooter is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds. Its maximum speed is 115 kilometers per hour. It has three different driving modes, including General, Sport and Hyper. Furnished with attractive looks and a strong electric motor, the company has introduced this scooter in a total of 10 colors.
Ola plans to set up India’s largest fast charging network known as Electric HyperCharger. The company aims to have fast chargers with over 1 lakh charging points in over 400 cities across the country. The company brought out the first electric scooter from its factory last night.
