The WHO is concerned that one quarter of the world will be deaf by 2050

A quarter of today’s population may still have hearing loss 30 years from now. The World Health Organization has said that we should be careful about this by 2050. The WHO says that in such a situation we should invest more in treatment and awareness. The World Health Organization’s first report in this regard states that such conditions are caused by infections, diseases, congenital problems, noise pollution and lifestyle defects. In this report it is stated that some important measures are taken to cost 33 1.33 per person per year.

The World Health Organization says the world is spending trillions of dollars every year due to this crisis. The reason is that it did not take the necessary steps to counter it. There is a huge loss of health without focusing on it, the report said. It will also hurt communication, education and employment. Currently, 20 percent of people around the world suffer from hearing loss. The report says the number of people with hearing impairments could increase by 1.5 times over the next three decades. This number is projected to grow to 1.6 billion in 2019, up from 2.5 billion in 2050.

Of the 2.5 billion people, 700 million suffer from severe hearing problems, according to the report. This hearing impairment problem is caused by demographic and demographic trends. Moreover, problems are increasing as there is no access to treatment for everyone. Especially in low-income countries, problems are increasing due to lack of facilities for care and lack of financial support for treatment. Not only this, but there is also a lack of proper professionals for treatment. Thus 80 percent of people with low hearing ability are only in low-income countries.
