Yamaha India today launched its Yamaha FZ-X bike in the Indian market. At the same time, the company has introduced an updated Fasino 125 scooter with hybrid technology. This 125cc scooter produces 8.2bhp and 10.3Nm of torque. The scooter’s hybrid system powers the scooter when starting and climbing. It has a Bluetooth enabled digital instrument cluster. The new scooter will go on sale soon.
Hybrid engine technology works like this
The specialty of the scooter is its Smart Motor Generator (SMG). In fact, it acts like an electric motor, which helps power the scooter while walking and climbing. When the scooter reaches the specified RPM, the power assist is automatically turned off. The Yamaha Fascino 125 125cc is controlled by an air-cooled single cylinder engine.
