Ola Electric, the country’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, will soon launch its first electric scooter in the domestic market. The company has started to book this upcoming scooter through its official website. Which customers can book for just Rs 499. Recently, the company’s president and CEO Bhavesh Agarwal tweeted a survey on the colors of the scooter. The company has now officially announced that the scooter will be available for sale in a total of 10 colors.
However, the company will reveal the true names of all these colors at the time of launching the scooter. But according to a picture shared by the company, the scooter is available in red, yellow, blue, pink, black, white, metallic gray, silver gray, and glossy black. Some of these color scooters have recently been spotted during testing.
Prior to the launch, this upcoming electric scooter in Ola has created a jumble in the market. In the 24 hours since the booking began, the company has registered bookings for more than 1 lakh units. Now news is coming that Home Electric will deliver this electric scooter across the country. According to media reports, Ola Electric scooters will be delivered to buyers across India without a traditional dealer network.
However, the driving range and other technical aspects of this scooter have not yet been officially announced. Experts believe that this electric scooter can charge anywhere from zero to 50% in just 18 minutes, and can travel up to 75 kilometers. It is expected to cover a range of about 150 km in full charge. The company offers features such as full-LED lighting, fast charging, front disc brakes.
Ola has recently registered a trademark for the ‘Series S, S1 and S1 Pro’ name, indicating possible names and variants of the electric scooter. The series is the name of the S Ola electric scooter range and the first scooter to be launched will feature two variants, including the S1 and S1 Pro.
