Morris Garages (MG) is once again trying to lure Indian customers with its internet and attractive SUV MG Astor. This time the company will launch its new SUV in the Indian market with artificial intelligence and autonomous Level 2 driver assistance system.
Recently, this SUV was officially launched, and it will be available for sale in September. This is the company’s first vehicle based on car-to-platform (CAAP) technology. Not only that, it is the cheapest car of the MG motor with artificial intelligence. In the mid-size SUV segment, the car competes directly with the Hyundai Creta. 5 SUVs are included in this SUV, which you won’t find in the Hyundai Creta. So let’s learn about those features-
1) – Multi-car services:
At MG Aster, the company has the option to choose from several other subscription services, such as Geo Connect, MapMindia. In fact, Astor was the first car in its segment to receive a blockchain-protected digital passport from Coin Earth. In addition, GeoSavon and Park + are loaded from the factory in this SUV.
2) – Level 2 Autonomous Technology:
Autonomous Level 2 technology is brand new for vehicles, although it does not allow driverless driving but also features many features that completely change your driving. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, rear drive assist (RDA), lane departure prevention, Intelligent Headlamp Control (IHC) and speed assist system.
3) – Personal Assistance Artificial Intelligence (AI):
A special feature of this new SUV is that it has signed a deal with the country’s leading telecom company Geo. That is, Reliance Jio provides an IT system for artificial intelligence. This is the first car from the company to offer Personal Assistance Artificial Intelligence (AI). The system was developed by the American company Star Design. The AI ​​system has an interactive robot that talks to the driver. The humanoid powered by i-Smart Hub is able to mimic human sounds and emotions, as well as understand the Hinglish language and Indian accent.
4) – 360 degree camera:
The SUV also gets a 360-degree camera, which helps the driver keep an eye on the road during vehicular traffic. This feature is not available on the Hyundai Creta. It also acts as a blind spot monitor so you can enjoy safe driving.
5) – Awesome Cabin Theme:
The Aster SUV is offered in three different cabin themes. As of now, the company has only shown dual-tone sangria red trim, with the exception of other themes introduced at launch. These cabin themes enhance the interior of the car and provide a premium feel.
