It is also believed that Lalita Saptami is celebrated on the seventh day of the bright fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada. This Saptami is dedicated to Lalita Devi, the friend of Shri Radha Rani. Lalita Devi was one of the most beloved gopis of Radha Rani and Lord Shri Krishna. Lalita Saptami is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Gopika Lalita. Devotees also worship Lalita Devi along with Shri Krishna and Radha Rani on this day with great law.

This is the method of fasting for child Saptami

On this day, wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes and take a pledge before Lord Shiva and mother Parvati and resolve to fast. Start this fast from this time. Stay fast on fasting day. As a Prasad of fasting, make 7 puras of Kheer-Puri and Gur or 7 sweet Pooris. For worship, place a square on the earth and place a statue of Shiva-Parvati on it. Install the urn next to it, so put mango leaves in it and keep coconut. After that, light a lamp and decorate aarti plate.

Now tie 7 puris and puas in a banana leaf and keep them in worship and pray for Lord Shiva for protection and progress of the children and worship Shiva and Parvati Mata. Offer them Kalava. Women should wear cotton Dora or silver child Saptami bangle in their hands during worship. After worship, offer incense, deep nevaidya, read or listen to the story of child Saptami. To open the fast, eat the offerings of Pudi or Puye.
