By 2074, disaster will lead to war, hatred will cause grief, and Europe will be roughly divided into three tribes. Some are as peaceful as the trio of siblings of the Origins tribe (Emilio Sacraia, Henrietta Confurius, David Ali Rashed). But many of them are focused on power, domination and revenge. What happens when these siblings are separated and forced to fight for the upliftment of this divided world? I imagine it will be explored in the resulting television series, isn’t it?
Tribes Of Europa comes from creator Philip Koch, who co-wrote the series with Jana Burbach and Benjamin Seiler. To address my particular fears that this show is so grim this time, he talked about the need to communicate a sense of universal hope through the series: “We’ve seen that we bring out positivity and more strongly. Instead, we all live in an exciting world where everyone gets back on their feet. A new beginning for the continent, full of hope – figuratively with its new name: Europa, with an English accent. ”
