Ingredients for making jalabi flour –
-1/2 cup all-purpose flour

-1/4 tsp baking powder
Yellow or a pinch of turmeric –
-1/4 cup yogurt
-1/4 cup water

Ingredients for making syrup-
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/4 cup water
1 tsp lemon juice
– A pinch of cardamom powder
-5-7 saffron

How to Make Jalabi –
To make the jalabi, first sift 1/2 cup all-purpose flour in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon corn starch, 1/4 tsp baking powder, a pinch of turmeric powder or turmeric and 1/4 cup of yogurt. Now add water as needed (about 1/4 cup) and make a thick dough. When making the dough make sure there are no lumps in the dough.

Now cover the solution with a tray and leave to ferment at room temperature for 24 hours. After 24 hours, beat the solution well with the help of a spoon. To make the jalabi, pour the dough into an empty sauce bottle or ziplock bag.

How to make syrup for jalabi
Put sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and water in a deep pot and cook over medium heat. Boil this water until it is 1 string syrup. When the sugar syrup is formed, add the lemon juice and turn off the gas. When the syrup has cooled, start making jalebis.

To fry the jalebi, heat the ghee / oil in a skillet over medium heat. After this, when shaping the jalebi by pressing the jalek bag, fry them until light golden and crisp and immediately put them in hot syrup. Remember, the syrup should be hot. After placing the jalabi in syrup for about two minutes, turn it over a minute later. Now the jalebi is ready to eat.
