If you want to update your address on Aadhaar card, this news is very important to you. So far, UIDAI has been providing Aadhaar card holders the convenience of updating the address without any proof, but now it is not. According to a UIDAI tweet, the service has now been discontinued. Responding to a Twitter user named Ahmed Memon on June 14, UIDAI tweeted that the address verification facility was closed until further orders.
In a tweet, you were asked to select one of the valid POA documents listed in the list to request for further address updates. By closing this service, it will be very difficult for people who do not have the necessary documents to change their address in Aadhaar.
