UPSSSC, UPPSC Recruitment 2021: This exercise has been started to address the shortage of technical personnel at the Water Nigam. 740 Engineers and clerical cadre 100 posts have been sent to the government. These appointments will be made through the UP Public Service Commission and the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Of the 13,317 vacancies in Jala Nigam, 4,300 are vacant. It has a large number of posts for engineers, clerical class and finance department. The biggest drawback is the engineers. Of the total 2,517 posts, 1,544 are vacant. There are only 953 people working under engineers. Of the 797 posts of Assistant Engineers, 209 are vacant. Similarly, out of 194 executive engineers, 116 posts of 88 and 151 posts of superintendent engineers are vacant. Over the next five years, 2,045 vacancies will be vacant. This leads to a shortage of technical personnel.
Water Nigam Managing Director Anil Kumar (III) said in a press conference that there will be a shortage of technical staff for 2021-22, 80 posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and 18 posts of 98 Assistant Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical). And a proposal to appoint 518 posts of under-engineer (civil) and 124 posts of under-engineer (electrical / mechanical) has been sent to the government for a total of 642 posts. Similarly, a proposal to appoint 65 posts of Headquarters and 35 Regional Cadres in the Junior Assistant Cadre has been sent by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The next recruitment process will be started soon after approval from the government.

Relief for employees outraged for pay Managing Directors Rs. 229.01 crores recently received. Of this, Rs 214.62 crore was spent on salaries and pensions of employees. Because of this, payments have been made for the month of December. The remaining three months’ payment will also be made soon.
