In the year 2020-21, the state government has released a timetable for online application to scholarship distribution from OBC students of classes 9-10. Students can apply online by October 12, 2020. Scholarship is finally scheduled to be distributed by 05 January 2021. In the financial year 2019-20, 08 lakh 33 thousand 622 other backward class students / girls of class 9-10 have been benefited under the scholarship scheme.
Students can apply online on the scholarship management system website in due time. Under this scheme Rs 150 per month, for a maximum period of 10 months and an annual ad-hoc grant of Rs 750 in lump sum, maximum Rs 2250 is given annually. The scheme is 50-50 percent funded by the Central Government and the State Government. Liabilities of previous years are not payable due to the scheme being fund limited. In case of the online application filled by the student being doubtful after the test, the student has to submit the required records in the educational institution by the desired time on-line dismantling at the suspicious point.
