UPSSSC Lekhpal Appointment 2020: A proposal for the appointment of 7882 accountants in Uttar Pradesh Revenue Council was sent to Uttar Pradesh Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) on Monday. The recruitment process for these posts will begin soon. The Commission will soon issue notifications for appointment to these posts. The UPSSSC removed 1364 vacancies of the Consolidation Lekpal in March 2019, which was later abolished. 12th Pass eligibility is requested for this appointment. Therefore, this time, it is possible to qualify for the 12th. The age limit can be kept from 18 to 40 years. The maximum age limit will be relaxed as per UP government rules.

UPSSC: Preliminary test for admission, valid for 1 year
UP government has implemented a new system to prevent any kind of rigging in recruitment to Group C posts. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct a preliminary examination (PET) in a two-stage test system. Results are declared based on percentage points. It is valid for one year.

Additional Chief Secretary Staff Mukul Sinhall has ordered this. The preliminary examination will be held once a year. In the new system, only the percentage score is declared instead of the total score. Based on this, the shortlist of the main exam applicants is made. The Main Examination, Skill Test or Physical Examination will be conducted for shortlisted candidates based on the preliminary qualification test scores according to the specific requirements and terms of service of various departments.

The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will be valid for the next one year or the central government will get the marks in the next examination. Following the creation of the National Recruitment Agency (NRA), the Commission will only use the NRA’s General Eligibility Test (CET) scores on the shortlist of candidates for the main exams. With the new system, candidates do not have to re-apply for various recruitment exams. By adopting the ‘Know Your Candidate’ process, a level registration will be held and a preliminary qualification examination will be held for all types of posts in various categories of Group C under a two stage test system.
