Reservation is made for two backward classes and 4 backward classes (women / men) ie 6 posts. Here the seats of three and seven block chiefs are reserved for women of any religion or caste.

The maximum number of posts have been reserved for the village chiefs of Ajamgarh and Jaunpur, according to the reservation details announced for the three-tier panchayat elections by the state department of Raj this time. These two districts have more Grama Panchayats compared to other districts.
