UPPCS: changed exam pattern harmful for Hindi speaking students PCS-2018

Legislative Council member Devendra Pratap Singh has questioned the change in exam pattern of PCS-2018. Devendra Pratap Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about the discrepancies of PCS. If the member of the Legislative Council is to be believed then the most competitive Hindi-speaking students have suffered. Devendra Pratap alleges that due to pattern change, Hindi-speaking contestants have been denied selection despite having talent. Therefore, an appeal has been made to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that the candidates are again given two opportunities due to change in pattern and due to age limit.

High court directions not followed
Legislative Council member Devendra Pratap Singh has said through the letter that scaling was not done in the main examination in PCS-2018, while the advertisement clearly contains the provision. There are also guidelines in this regard of the Supreme Court which have not been followed. Due to lack of scaling, the candidates of science subject were benefited while the candidates taking examination with humanities subject got the disadvantage, because mathematics and science subjects get full marks but humanities subjects are not available.

Exams only through Hindi
Devendra Pratap Singh has said that competitive students of Uttar Pradesh have demanded that the PCS exam be conducted only through Hindi medium. The PCS-2018 copies should be evaluated as per the advertisement. Also, evaluate the subjects of Hindi and English medium with different experts. In the letter, it has been said that the preliminary examination should be considered as retrenchment, 20 times relative to the post or 20 times of the applied candidates should be declared successful. Include all the subjects in the main examination, in the main examination all the papers of general studies should be asked thematic questions only with special reference to Uttar Pradesh. Videography should be done during the interview.
