The main examination of Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (PCS) commenced on Thursday 2020. The examination will be held till January 25 at 12 centers in Prayagaraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. The examination of the 487 posts is being conducted in two hours from 9.30 am to 12.30 am and 2 pm to 5 pm.
On the first day, two papers of 150-150 marks of the ordinary Hindi and the second essay were conducted. The Hindi paper was at the general level of focusing on English medium students. However, it also included a practical component. For example, the District Collector was asked to write a government letter on behalf of the Chiefs regarding the death of Kovid-19 in the Panchayat.
In the second term, I was asked to write an essay entitled ‘Indian Agriculture: Towards the Evergreen Revolution’. At a time when farmers have been besieging Delhi for more than a month in opposition to farm bills, the issue is being debated on the issue.
The changes in the paper will be understood by Friday’s examination. On Friday, there will be two papers of General Studies First and General Study II, 200-200, and two papers of General Studies III and General Studies IV of 200-200 marks on January 23.

89 percent of candidates gave PCS Mains 2020
Of the 5139 candidates registered for the Pragya Raj PCS2020 Main Examination, 4589 (89.30 per cent) are in the first shift and 4576 (89.04 per cent) in the first shift. Of the 2084 candidates registered at the five centers of Prayagaraj, 1872 (89.8 per cent) attended. Of the four centers in Lucknow, 1551 (88.38 per cent) in 1755 and 1153 (88.69 per cent) out of 1300 candidates have attended the three centers in Ghaziabad.
