UPSC CAPF 2020 Notification: Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2020 notification will be released tomorrow

UPSC CAPF 2020 Notification: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notification of Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2020 will be released tomorrow. The UPSC CAPF 2020 notification will be released on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in. UPSC CAPF 2020 applications will also start with the release of Assistant Commandant Exam 2020 notification.

UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandant) 2020 will be able to apply by going to the Commission’s application portal, upsconline.nic.in, for the preparation of CAPF exam. The last date for application has been set 7 September 2020. At the same time, according to the recently released Revised Exam Calendar 2020 by UPSC, the CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Exam 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on 20 December.

Explain that the Union Public Service Commission conducts the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Examination every year for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in various forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. These forces include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Last year, 323 vacancies of Assistant Commandant were advertised through UPSC CAPF exam.

Who can apply?

Those candidates who wish to appear in the UPSC CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Examination are eligible to apply, who have passed graduation degree from a recognized university or institute or have equivalent qualification. Also, the candidate should have attained the age of 20 years on 1 August 2020 and not attained the age of 25 i.e. the candidate should not have been born before 02 August 1995 and not later than 1 August 2000.
