The Central Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the 2020 results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination on Tuesday. “The interview of the successful candidates will commence soon,” he said at the commission’s office in Dhaulpur House, Shahjahan Road.
Every year, the civil service examination takes place in three stages – preliminary, main and interview for the selection of officers for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS) and other services.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Personnel, at the time of the interview, applicants must present original certificates and other documents to support the claims of age, educational qualification, community, financially vulnerable sections, disability, etc.
It said, ‘So they were instructed to keep these records ready. Candidates will soon be given e-summons for in-person interviews which can be downloaded from the Commission’s website www.upsc.gov.in and www.upsconline.in ‘
It said the commission would not send any paper summons for in-person interviews. “Candidates will not be entertained by any change in the date and time of the interview,” the statement said.
