Bhubaneswar: The incident took place in Raigad district of Odisha when a soldier fell from the roof of a three-storey building while watching an IPL match.

The deceased has been identified as Yogeshwar Das, 27, of Nawangpur. Das was sitting on the roof of the house on Tuesday evening watching the IPL match on his mobile phone. But unfortunately Das has fallen down from the roof.

The result is serious injuries to his head. Immediately, Das was taken to the district by colleagues and recorded. However, Das died in hospital due to severe bleeding.

Yogeshwar Das joined the Odisha Special Armed Police (OSAP) 3rd Battalion in Koraput in 2013. He had been transferred to Raigad five months ago. But while watching the match, the roof fell and died.
