Why Hike is not in Playstore?
The messaging service app was developed by Hike Private Limited and is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. However, lately it has been missing from the respective App Stores. One of the reasons why Hike is not working on mobile phones is missing from the Playstore, as the company confirmed that it is pulling plugs from its messaging service this year.
Kevin Bharti Mittal, CEO of Hike Messenger, has confirmed that the App will be shut down in January 2021. Mittal shared this information via Twitter. The CEO’s tweet, however, did not reveal why the company is pulling the plug-off. In no case does the user have to worry about data because it is available for download within the app.

Hike app is being replaced
Mittal explained in subsequent tweets that the brand is looking to replace Hike Messenger with Vibe and Rush. Both applications are available for download on both the Android and iOS platforms. Another good news is that after the Hike Messenger app has been discontinued, the Hike Mozi will be available for use on both Vibe and Rush.

What is Vibe?
On January 6, 2021, the Hike App users received an official message from the app, which is saying goodbye to their users on January 14, 2021 at 11:59 pm IST. Hike Sticker Chat was the first messenger app to introduce call and video calling feature before WhatsApp. Read the notification:
